Multi-Language Support: English & Spanish
My Prop Journal is now available in Spanish. Switch languages in your Preferences settings and the entire application interface translates instantly — no refresh, no reinstall, no extra setup.
Spanish-speaking traders can now use the full My Prop Journal interface in their preferred language — whether you trade from Latin America, Spain, or anywhere else. Every label, menu, button, and setting is natively translated across the trading journal.
What's New
Full Spanish Language Support
The entire My Prop Journal interface is now available in Spanish. This isn't a partial translation or a machine-generated overlay — every screen in the application has been fully translated, including:
- Dashboard — All widget labels, headers, and controls
- Trade Log — Column headers, filters, trade entry fields, and status labels
- Performance Analytics — Chart labels, metric names, date selectors, and summary cards
- Trader Development Tools — Trade write-ups, report cards, trading plans, playbooks, strategies, chart books, session notes, and trader's notebook
- Account Management — Prop accounts, retail accounts, transaction types, and account settings
- Settings & Preferences — All settings screens, billing, profile, and sharing options
- Navigation — Sidebar labels, section headers, and all menu items
How to Switch Languages
Switching languages takes seconds and is found in your Preferences settings.
To change your language:
- Click Settings in the left sidebar
- Select Preferences
- Scroll to the Language section
- Open the Application Language dropdown
- Select Spanish (Español)
The interface updates immediately. No page refresh required.
By default, the application language is set to Auto, which detects and matches your browser's language setting. If your browser is set to Spanish, My Prop Journal will automatically display in Spanish on your first login. You can override this at any time by selecting a specific language in Preferences.
Language Persistence
Your language preference is saved to your account, not your browser. This means:
- Your preferred language follows you across devices
- Logging in on a new computer or phone will display the app in your selected language
- Changing devices does not reset your language preference
Why This Matters
Trading Is a Global Community
The trading community extends well beyond English-speaking countries. Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, and a significant portion of active traders operate primarily in Spanish. My Prop Journal should be as useful to a trader in Mexico City or Buenos Aires as it is to one in New York or Chicago.
Better Journaling in Your Native Language
Writing trade write-ups, playbooks, and session notes in your native language leads to better, more detailed documentation. When you're not translating your thoughts before you write them, your analysis is faster, more accurate, and more honest. That matters for development.
A Foundation for More Languages
Spanish is the first non-English language we're supporting, but it won't be the last. This release establishes the translation infrastructure that will allow us to add additional languages in future updates based on where our users are.
How to Get Started
If Spanish is your preferred language, update your setting now:
- Go to Settings → Preferences → Language
- Select Spanish (Español) from the dropdown
- The interface switches instantly
If you're already using a Spanish-language browser, the app may already be displaying in Spanish automatically. If not, the manual override in Preferences gives you full control.
